My first piece using liquid crystals to make "mood art"! I like to think this would be handy to have at your desk if you're a fidgeter; it's mostly smooth to the touch, so that's pleasing for your tactile sense, but it's also temperature reactive, so it will change color from your body heat! In cooler temps, it's basically black, at warmer room temps, it can look a little bit orange/ brown or even green (see photos for examples). You can watch it change color from the heat of your coffee or the cold from your mixed drink; since's it has a resin coating, the top surface is waterproof and it can serve as a slightly oversized and glorified coaster if you want! I layered holographic glitter with black bits in it to keep it interesting even when you're not touching it. It's not quite perfect; learning to use this paint is a little tricky, so it does have one spot that's not quite as saturated as the rest.
