Two layers of pastel rainbow colors laying perpendicular to each other to create some shimmery contrast. Uneven application and drying of the mediums led to a shell like texture, making this look like true mother of pearl. The colors also shift to their complimentary tone when lighting or angle is adjusted, so make sure you view all photos to see the full effect. Looks even better in person - like a painting made from seashells that washed up from the ocean.
